One of the most prominent mosques in the city of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, the original building was constructed during the thirteenth century by Sherwan Shah Farrukhzadeh II, and is the tomb of Sayyida Fatima the Younger, daughter of Imam Musa ibn Jaafar al-Kadhim.
