The Surakhani ship played an important role in the history of the transport of Azerbaijani oil by sea. The tanker Surakhani returns and first took off in the Caspian Sea in 1957.
Until recently, the tanker Surakhani was used as an oil refining station at ASCO. In 2017, the ship was converted into a museum.
